He mentions that he flew a chopper in the war, so it only makes sense that he'd use a chopper as air transport. Secondly, it is unrealistic because Niko would need proper training to fly a plane, otherwise he probably wouldn't even be able to get off the ground. GTA IV's NYC, however, is very heavily based on NYC, so any 9/11 reference would be a lot more obvious. Look, GTA III's LC was only loosely based on NYC, so it wasn't that likely that someone would accuse R* of copying 9/11.
#Gta iv eflc 9/11 free
Template:GripeIf you want to be realistic play the sims or something like that,do you think its realistic to kill 13 police officers and more civilians, get locked up and walk around free the next day.Anyway 9/11 was a tragic day for everyone but that doesn't mean R* can't add planes. They did in the all the GTA 3 games, why can't they do it now.And don't say this liberty city was based upon it and GTA 3 and LCS was not. They both were based even if GTA IV was more like it.GTA 3 even had a 9/11 reference with a construction site (were you find asuka dead)were the Twin towers were supposed to be.No one sued them(atleast not for that)for that. It was based on NY, but wasn't actually NY therefore,(Just learned about the therefore thing)it wouldn't have to do with 9/11.
What does 9/11 have to do with it? Actually GTA SA was made in like 2004. Number two, the game is set in NYC, where the 9/11 attacks took place, so that would have made the inclusion of flyable planes pretty awkward. In reality, you can't fly a plane without proper training. Number one, the game is meant to be realistic. This has been mentioned at least twice before here. I miss planes, they were the only reason I bought san andreas (Well that and swimming).
